It started with a hat.
From a garage in Oceanside CA, Brixton started with a group of friends who found inspiration in the diversity of cultures around them. The Hooligan, a vintage-inspired newsboy cap, was the first step in the journey.
Discovered through art, music, exploration, and adventure. We wanted to bring together people from a variety of lifestyles. Creators, makers, and doers: musicians, artists, craftspeople, travelers – they are Brixton's inspiration.
Though the brand was forged in Southern California, we are inspired by the world around us and carry that inspiration into everything we do.
