VINYL : Birth of an Idea SONAKINE

Sonakine is a Hip Hop producer from Naples. His music is predominantly influenced by Jazz, Soul and Funk sounds, and he always manages to be innovative and surprising without special effects or trendy sounds, but with a classic mood that harks back to the best of the 90s.
He made direct contact with the hip hop world in 1997; in 2003, he founded the Neapolitan hip hop group Capeccapa with Cref and ‘O Pecone, with whom he released the song "Strane Storie 'e Strada" published on the Napolizm volume 1° Polemics Records NYC 2005 compilation curated by Polo (La Famiglia). In 2007, he produced four beats for Cane Pazzo (Intro-Chest’è-Natu gir’‘e tango-You don’t stop), Svez's (13 Bastardi) first solo work. Among his musical collaborations, we particularly remember the musical production of Shaone's (La Famiglia) CD Anticamera, produced in 2009, which achieved considerable success among fans of the genre and received excellent reviews in major industry magazines. In 2011, he produced three beats on Svez's CD "Rap Veritas" (Svez is Back-L'Ultimo Giorno-Ca Pala), and produced 2 songs for Sandro Su's album (We Fratè-Liberazione). In 2013, he produced a beat on the Ganjafarm cru's album "Nuie Vuie" (Presentiment), a beat on Lucariello's album "CMNF8" (Quistione 'e passione), five beats on the "Scienze Sotterranee" Underground Science Naples album (Intro-Over Ca'-Nun M'ammesc-'A Terr Tremm-G.R.E.T.), the Capeccapa album "Caparbi" and his personal album of instrumentals "The Birth Of An Idea.
